#65: Default password for X509Anchors on OS X Leopard
Solved!

The System keychain X509Anchors (in /System/Library/Keychains) is locked by a password. This password is not the system-level administrator password. I need to unlock it.

  On OS X 10.5, the string: X509Anchors
It's appalling that Apple has decided to lock a keychain on my machine without giving me the password to it.

not very helpful, but apparently you're not supposed to ever touch X509Anchors

Same. I cannot unlock X509Anchors with the administrator password, or using the (advised by the above)..."X509Anchors".
